Triangle Wines, Sanha Tinto 2021

Triangle Wines was created with a vision of linking the best winemakers in the world with fairly unknown terroirs and grape varieties. Now into its third iteration, legendary Portuguese winemaker, Dirk Van Niepoort, has taken up the mantle with his Sanha Tinto. Made from 100% organically farmed, 60-year-old Baga vines, it is an awesomely bright, floral and energetic red. Crunchy notes of redcurrant, cranberry and wild raspberry play on a backdrop of subtle earthy-herbaceous aromatics. The palate is firm and fresh, with mouth-watering acidity and a long pure finish. Such a versatile wine, equally at home chilled as an aperitif or paired with roasted poultry or fish.
